I have HP Probook 6470b notebook Intel Core i7-3540M processor (HM76 chipset, 68ICE Ver. F.74 BIOS version)
I have question. This is laptop supported Intel Core i7-3636QM ?
I see YT a guy upgrade processor this on laptop.

Here is the manual for your laptop: c03564727.pdf (hp.com) on page 115 it lists all possible CPU replacements, there is no support on paper for the i7-3636QM. However, I could not find the i-7 3636QM, did you mean 3630QM or the 3632QM? The CPU used in the video to swap is the 3632QM also.

Sorry. I think about. I want upgrade Intel Core i7-3632QM CPU. This no possible ?
Laptop Iwy Bridge, TDP 35 W.
BIOS version: 68ICE Ver. F.74
But YT video laptop BIOS version : F 43 (year 2013)
This my version F.74 (year 2019) . There is no problem ?
My listening some laptop BIOS take out old CPU support in new version BIOS.
I7-3632QM is 2012 year. My actual CPU is 2013 year (i7-3540M)
There is no problem ? Runing 3632QM ?
