Hello all,
Having spent a fair while trying to get the ATI 7470m switchable graphics working in my HP Probook 4530s, I've come to the conclusion that the chip is fried. It no longer boots with the card enabled, even with a fresh install and any combination of drivers. I've heard this is a common problem with this model (and it's ancient anyway.) I've been using the onboard for a while, but I just bought the witcher 3 and it requires direct x 11.
Does anyone know if the graphics chip is replaceable/repairable?
