I have a HP prodesk 400 G1 Mt. I put a 500 w power supply in it as well as a 1060 graphics card. Everything else in it is what came prebuilt. I am having issues getting it to start up. Do I just have an error on my end or is it not compatible?

Solution
So without the 1060 it is starting normally? I guess you have iGPU on ur CPU to see screen.
If so, put the 1060 out and back again carefully on the pciE slot, the 6-pin in its place, retry...drivers if possible
If it fails to boot again, install latest possible bios for the motherboard.
Also, I'll repeat one of my questions:
What is this PSU? Brand, Model, etc...
Let's assume you've put the 6-pin connector of your PSU in the GTX 1060.
What is this PSU? Brand, Model, etc...
What exactly is this GTX 1060? Branding, New/Used, 6/3 GB, stock/OC, 6-pin only/requiring more power&so more pins?
