Hello, the text from emails and documents is fuzzy. If I remove hp radeon 3200 can I read the text again on my HP2009m flat screen?

If you are plugging the monitor into the Radeon 3200 and choose to remove it no video at all will be possible. If the Radeon 3200 is an onboard chip, it is not removable.

I believe all Radeon 3200 graphics procesors are onboard chips and part of the motherboard chipset.

Yes, you are right its part of the motherboard chipset. I have changed the resolution in the catalyst control center, back and forward from 1600x900, 60 Hertz to different resolutions and Hertz but the text is hardly readable.
It looks like there are two screens over each other, one for the video and behind the video screen an other screen!!!. hard to explain.

Is it possible to remove the software Radeon 3200 , uninstall the driver, as they say, and then install the latest software, would that help?

Ofcourse I like to see internet TV but I much more prefer to read my emails and documents clearly.

Thank you in advance

I downloaded all 3 versions for the embedded Radeon 3200 Vista: Catalyst Software Suite 50.4 MB, also with App etc, 51.5 MB, AII Catalyst Application Profile 0.5 MB. Finally the resolution is oke, but still the text is not clear. In documents and mails the text is difficult to read, normal Times new roman, size 12.

I think it has to do with the acceleration. Do you know how I can change the acceleration speed!

Almost there 😴

Hello, Still have a text which is not clearly readable. Could it be that is has to do with the connection from the cables, DVI and VGA. Does it matter if you have both cables connected, I taught it did not?

What do I have to do to get a clear text under the Icons f.i.
How can I change the settings from the graphic hardware? By troubleshoot and change settings but it is not possible to press the button! 😱

Well, have you opened Catalyst Control Center? If CCC is installed properly, right click anywher on the desktop and click on the link. Other options would be to try a third party video card if a PCIE slot is available on the MB.

Have you tried this.

Yes the CCC is installed properly. The text is better readable now but still not as it should be, fuzzy.
Again how come I cannot open the settings in the CCC, troubleshoot and than the button change settings. It was also before the downloads like that, I understand its also part of the embedded software on the chip.

What those this mean, does this software causes the problem? Shell I delete the software?
Effected programs: Adobe Photoshop Help menu, OpenOffice 2.

Maybe it is a idea to try a third party video card. How do I manage that?

Tanks so far.

I have a motherboard with a Radeon 3200 onboard video processor. No problems like you are describing. If CCC does not open, the software is corrupted or an incorrect version or the software/driver is installed. I would suggest going to the system's HP online product page and downloading and installing the latest system drivers HP has available for the system. List the model number of your HP system. Also, is this Vista 32 or 64?

The motherboard would have to have a PCIE slot available to install a third party video card and bypass the onboard Radeon video chip. List the model number of the HP system you are referring to. Vista 32? Vista 64? You say you downloaded and installed all three drivers from the AMD/ATI download site? Only one driver is the correct one for your system.

At first I tried to download the Original ATI Radeon HD Graphics Driver, but it did not succeed.
I have got a message failed to install. Can try it again. Maybe I have to sign in first.

Yes I downloaded all 3 versions but I overwrote the software each time?

I will contact you whit the results

I cannot download the original version, the exact message is.
Your system does not (..cannot read it) the minimum requirements for this update. Update has been cancalled (999/).

Can I download an other version?
Do you need other information?

I downloaded the AMD Radeon Video card drivers Application profiles Windows vista 64 bit.
The text is a little bit clearer but still fuzzy. And again if I go to troubleshoot I would like to change hardware acceleration but the system says. Your current display driver does not allow changes to made to hardware acceleration.

Is there a possibility to do so!!!

Do I have to download the 74 MD, the Catalyst Software suit APP and the ATI Application also.

Or shell I try a hotfix?

Thanks for your patience.

I disconnected the VGA cable and left the DVI cable connected of course.
I downloaded a Microsoft fix it center and some issues were found out:
Video Card driver does not support Aero effects
- the current video card driver is not compatible with the windows display driver Model (WDDM)
- video card does not support required display settings. Install a Aero video card.

Installing: windows Vista Aero Glassvisual effect are not working.

Can you suggest something, does this sound logic?
Thank you.
