HP rp700 Upgrade Help

Hello, a while back i purchased a hp rp700 to work from home, it was a great solution, and it has served me well for its purpose, however, seeing as now i no longer work from home, and no longer use this computer as an office computer, i was wondering if anyone could help me as to upgrading this thing. I dont need it to be the best, but i do wnna run very modern games, all the current parts are stock (as i know of) and im a complete noob at this stuff so any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

tldr; what should and can i upgrade on a stock hp rp700?

well, which RP700 do you have? as the 'RP' stands for Retail Point-of-sale. PCs designed to integrate with cash registers.

Hi!, thanks for helping out, i actually hit a typeo in my initial question, the specs i know for this thing are as following : hp rp5700*** , Intel(R) Core 2 duo cpu e7400 @ 2.80 ghz 4 gb ram , i dont really have any info on my motherboard, and i have a 1TB hard drive (not sure how to check the speed or w/e) the manufacturer is HP, if that matters any, sorry for the vagueness of some of the info, im actually retarded when it comes to computers, also i checked and there isnt any gpu to my knowledge.

eeeehrm, that's a pretty ancient pc by now -- cpu is about 10 years old. No level of upgrades will make it viable for modern games. Maybe some indy steam games (but not all of them), Kongregate and facebook flash games.

all in all, a newer PC is probably a better bet.

Ah, i see, unfortunate, but not all bad, i get to see what kinda pc i could build, and it would be fun i bet learning all i need to know, thanks for the help anyways!
