HP scanjet 4c software

I have a HP scanjet 4c. The software I have does not allow me to scan and save the image as a jpg or gif. Is there another software that is compatabile with this scanner that will allow this?

Almost any photo-editing sofware should allow to import from a TWAIN source (ie: your scanner) and then save it as any format you wish.
