1-Optical resolution
2-Dynamic range (in D if possible)
3-Color (or bit) depth

i have that scanner but use a newer one with transpareny kit. dietmar
meisel of http://www.fotowand.de is a calibration expert. he told me
that hp-scanners have always been very precise.
