Last night we had a big lightening storm. Before we went out to dinner, I either put the PC to sleep, or turned it off...can't quite remember. Not sure what role lightening may have played as all phones, TVs, (PC monitor working this morning-didn't test until this morning,) and house lights were working when we got home. Nonetheless, this morning when I went to turn on the PC, it didn't. I have all my computer and computer related wires attached to two good surge protectors. And, the surge protectors show no indication of a problem...all their lights are green in the right places. I also checked the electrical outlets and they are all functioning properly. Need help in trying to determine if PC is fried, and/or how to get it started up again. Thanks.

Was your PC connected to the internet using the RJ45 connector?

You might want to relocate to another wall outlet, sans a surge protector and see if that helps. Since your motherboard and PSU have bespoke connectors, you can't use an off the shelf PSU.

Yes, if yo mean a phone type plug.
I have re-plugged the PC's power line into another outlet to no avail.
Don't understand what you mean here "...motherboard and PSU have bespoke connectors, you can't use an off the shelf PSU."

As far as I can assume why the PC doesn't turn on, I'm pretty sure that it isn't fried. Although we had a big lightening storm, nothing in the house went out and no mother boards associated with the appliances, TVs, sound system went out. So, I'm thinking that the problem could be related directly to maybe a PC switch, PSU, or something else within the PC that prevented it from turning on.
