I've got HP t5740 / HP T55xx PV900h Thin Client motherboard (P/N 621769-001).

I would like to have 4 GB instead of 2 GB RAM, therefore I've bought used chip - Goodram gr1333s364l9s/4g, but when I swap chips, thin client does not start.

I am not sure what is wrong since from my research it should work, but maybe goodram chip is broken? I dont have other option to test goodram chip.

Do you know if this setup should work?

When you upgrade the memory, you should use the "RAM Memory Configurator' to see the RAM is compatible or not. According the goodram site, I can't see that RAM is compatible to your HP. http://www.goodram.com/b2b-offer/memory-configurator/ because I can't find your HP in their list.

I don't know where you are. May try those sites like:

https://www.archmemory.com/memory.cfm/HP-RAM-Servers-HP-Thin-Client-t5740-t5740wi-t5740e-163941

Good point about ram configurator, anyway im unable to find "GR1333S364L9S/4G" at all on their site (this is the only information printed on my ram).

I've found that ram configurator is saying to use W-575480-001. When I google and compare specs, they are identical.

I dont get those part numbers...
