the AMD 7th-gen I'm quite interested in; wondering if that R7 graphics component is actually going to output at a Desktop equivalent 370 graphics. i would get the 1080p screen and be happy with an ultralight portable gamer.

I'm waiting for the AMD ZEN APU's coming next year, built on 14nm technology. Will give you the awesome graphics, cpu performance on par with intel, and power consumption of 14nm.

finally. hp has been lagging behind its laptop series compared to the rest of the competition esp on the envy series whuch lacks ddr4 and usb 3.1 support.

The X360 envy is exactly what I want... except it doesn't have a digitizer/stylus. My SP3 continues to "win".

The specs chart say the 4k resolution is UHD (3840 x 2120) IPS. Even though it's not "true 4k" to the purists,I thought the now-common 4K standard resolution was supposed to be 3840 x 2160 ( vs the 2120 in the article).
