Hello,
i have a question about upgrading a old hp vectra vl400DT
now it has a onboard graphics... but i have laying around a Geforce 4 MX 420.
i really like to play san andreas on it (and yes it has 1ghz P3 and 512mb of ram)
but i found that the AGP has no notches (do i say it good?) and the videocard has,
so can i plug it right in or will i burn down my computer?

this is in the support manual : Matrox Millennium G450 AGP 4X or PCI Graphics Card
Some Vectra VL400 PC models are supplied with a Matrox Millennium G450
AGP 4X graphics controller. Also, there is a PCI version of this graphics card
available for the VL400 Small Form Factor.
The Matrox Millennium G450 is a very high performance 2D/3D graphics
card
so if the g450 fits the geforce will do too... i hope can anyone confirm this?

Thank you for your answer, i wanted to have this pc for school for some simple things like word and a school program for 3d drawing, but the computer is already died... so no pentium 3 no more i'm already looking for a 3ghz Pentium 4, with agp 8x,
