So I am wanting to get a laptop, mainly for business purposes and I might do the occasional small gaming on it. I'd say my budget is around the $500 area

I already have this laptop at my house: HP 15-ay013nr 15.6" Full-HD Laptop (6th Generation Core i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD) with Windows 10 https://www.amazon.com/HP-Notebook-15-ay011nr-15-6-Inch-Processor/dp/B01CGGOZOM?tag=viglink20237-20 <--$460

However I do not like the fact that it is an HP because all I ever hear about HP is negative. So I decided to buy this laptop as well and it is being shipped to my house at this very moment.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C086TLS?tag=viglink20237-20 got mine for $477

The things I like about the Asus more are: More SSD sapce(128gb more, however I can always upgrade the HP with 120gb via hard drive caddy for around $40 to $50 dollars) Its an Asus, so I personally have more faith in it lol.. and the fact that it comes with 1 yr free damage warranty. So it guarantees me a full 1 year of use. Where as the HP can only guarantee me 30 days of use.

Now for what I do not like about the Asus: It has an AMD processor A10-8700p vs the HP i5-6200u. I personally do not know much about AMD other then the fact that they make less reliable cheaper products? I also do not like the fact that the Asus battery is not easily removed in 3 secs.

Having such a hard time making up my mind and I've made one post already in the cpu section but everyones answers were little 1 liners which did not help me.

There are also these laptops and the only thing holding me back is the small price increase: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-NVIDIA-Windows-E5-575G-53VG/dp/B01DT4A2R4/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

If anyone has a better laptop solution as in different laptop, I'd be happy to look at it.

Thank you everyone in advanced.

Oh a side note: I will be depending heavily on this laptop to trade stock with intensive stock programs for when/if my home internet ever goes out. So it has to be reliable.

I've had 3 HP laptops...a 2009-era dv14, a 2011-era Elitebook, and a 2015 Elitebook.

Hated the 2011- constantly had issues, but the other two have been great. The 2009 is still used every day.

The i5-6200u is a stronger processor in single-threaded tasks, but the SSD in the Asus will make the MUCH bigger difference in everyday use.

Well unless Someone can convince me of a different laptop, I'll probably be going with the Asus but not because of the SSD but because of the 1 yr warranty. Still tho that AMD processor worries me for some funny reason. I'll find out for sure when ever it arrives at my house.
