Hi guys,

I have an HP XW4600 and I have purchased an EVGA Supernova G3 750W PSU as a replacement after the original failed. https://www.newegg.com/global/nz/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIACVB6NZ4138&cm_re=EVGA_SuperNOVA_G3-_-17-438-093-_-Product

I have plugged the new PSU in correctly and the cables seem compatible, but unfortunately when I press the power on button the PSU powers for a second then I get a red light and a beep beep sound.

I'm have done a bit of research, but I can't seem to find anything that will help me. I'm wondering, is there any way of getting the computer to work with the new PSU?

Solution
Some OEM PSUs have adapters out there, but this one is particularly problematic; all the times I've seen solutions for this, it involved a bit of electrical rewiring even with an adapter.
