hp z400 compatible ramm

Hi
i have a HP Z400 i am looking to add more memory ramm my z400 is blessed with 6 Dimm's
it takes PC3-10600 DDR3-1333 ECC Unbuffered DIMMs
from what i have found the hp z400 quick spec shows part number NL797AA
Ktd-Pe313E/4G as i am only after 4 gb ramm
my question i keep finding is internet sellers keep listing there hp z400 ramm as
Ktd-Pe313 ram is registered ramm the hp z400 Ktd-Pe313E ram is udimm
so even though the sellers list the Ktd-Pe313 as compatible with the hp z400 as far i can tell it's not
but all i need to know is what are the available ramm for hp z400

You are correct - KTD-PE313E is unregistered/udimm and is what you should be looking for. The KTD-PE313 registered/rdimm is not listed as compatible for that system. There were plenty KTD-PE313E/4G listed in Google Shopping when I searched for it, but as you mentioned there were RDIMM sticks listed also. You just need to look closely at the description and make sure you're getting the unregistered sticks.
