Hello

I have couple questions

Will the I5-3470 processor be compatible with Z600?

I have an HP Z600 with dual E5645 and I want to upgrade the Quadro 2000 to GTX 1050 TI will it work fine with the E5645?

which is better for gaming I5-3470 3.2 GHZ + GTX 1050 TI or E5645 + GTX 1050 TI?

Solution
The first concern I would have here is if your mobo will run with only one CPU installed, it appears from the link it will. You might want to pull one of the CPU's to test this.

Next, I have a pretty firm suspicion that your BIOS will not allow the use of a non-Xeon CPU. This will stop you dead in your tracks. As far as gaming performance the i5 (3.2GHz core speed vs 2.4GHZ core speed) will be faster the majority of times, the Z600 is a workstation with large multi-core performance.

You should be able to use the 1050Ti, you have two PCI-e x16 slots on your board and it is available with the FX3800 which is a 108W card vs the 75W for the 1050Ti.
