Hello there. I have an HP Photosmart 5520 that will not work

It says "Ink Cartridge Problem The following Ink Cartridge(s) must be replaced. (All colours are displayed)"

I replaced ALL cartridges but it will not go away, despite unplugging,
unhooking, restarting etc.

Has anyone had this problem? Is there a fixit? I need to print out some
data urgently and I'm stuck.

From HP support:

"After you install a cartridge, an 'Incompatible Ink Cartridge(s)' or a 'The indicated Ink Cartridge(s) must be replaced' error message displays on the product control panel. An icon displays on the control panel that indicates which cartridge is causing the error. Replace the indicated cartridges with genuine HP ones."

It sounds like all the cartridges are non-HP compatibles or copies (which is why all the colours are displayed - they are all non-HP)

Fix - remove all the cartridges and install genuine HP ones.

The best option to fix this issue is go through Hp Photosmart 5520 Manual for hardware troubleshooting section. Following are few tips that may also help you in fixing this issue:
Make sure you are using HP ink cartridges and HP paper set. Because if you ink cartridges and paper set of another brand then there are very high chance that printer gives printing error.
Clean your print head. Be sure that print head is not clogged by ink.
Your ink cartridges should be properly seated in printer.
Reset your cartridges.
Send your printer for service.
