Question HP6200 and GTX1060

Hello,

I'm thinking building ex-office PC to a gaming machine.

Now it has i3-2100, 8gigs of ram, 500GB HDD and DVD Rom. PSU is 320W and 90% rating. I'm thinking of putting i7 2600 (or i7 2600s for lower TDP) and GTX1060 with one fan to this rig. I have 2 x SATA to PCIe cable for powering GPU.

Should I swap for 1060 or just stick with 1050Ti? Changing PSU is not possible.

If you don't currently own a 1060 then just buy a 580 or a 1660. 100% better value / performance

RX580 surely won't fit and PSU way too low for 320W PSU + it needs 1 x 8-pin connector.


GTX1660 costs new ~230Eur where I live, used 1060 3GB costs less than 100Eur.

HP uses Legacy BIOS, no UEFI support.
