Hi all,
Bit of a conundrum which I'm hoping someone else has had. I jumped on the Win10 upgrade and hated it, so reverted back to Win 8.1 on my HP 655. It went smoothly until I tried to log in.
When I try to type my password, nothing happens. The keyboard doesn't respond, the touchpad is dead and, from what I can tell, something is up with the USB ports too. (I've tried plugging a USB keyboard and mouse in, nothing happens.)
I can get into the BIOS and the keyboard works fine there. I can use a USB keyboard while in there too.
The other problem is that, like an idiot, I didn't back it up, so I don't have anything to revert back to.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be really appreciated!
