Hpdv2202ca and ssd: it works

Hello
i found out this my old notebook and i was thinking it will be nice fix it and give it to my young son.
So i installed vista 64bit, 2gb memory (i don t think it can support 4gb....but maybe i m wrong) and now i was thinking about an ssd instead of it old 80gbhhd 5200rpm.
but
can this motherboard support ssd???? and in case there is some that i must take care? (for example i guess sataIII will be a waste)

any help will be more then appreciated and you will make my little boy happy.

It has a SATA HDD so it should handle a SSD fine.
