Hello

I have hpe proliant dl380 gen10 with dual 8153 but i have one hynix 32Gb to install at slot 8. Btw system has error 231 with memory issue

I follow exact HP memory config for one dim at slot 8 and Ram part number HMA84GR7AFR4N-VK - SK Hynix 1x 32GB DDR4-2666

So, what's wrong with me ?

Thanks

If you have 2x cpus, you probably need 2x memory modules at a minimum.
You need to read the population guide -- https://www.hpe.com/psnow/downloadDoc/Server memory and persistent memory population rules for HPE Gen10 servers with Intel Xeon Scalable processors technical white paper-a00017079enw.pdf?id=a00017079enw&section=&prelaunchSection=&softrollSection=&deepLink=&isFutureVersion=true&qsVersion=&form=false&preview=false
And you need at least one DIMM for each socket. It looks like slot 8 is the first one that should be populated for each CPU, based on my quick read
