My ISP is ok otherwise, but I wish they would handle , say, 20,000 more
groups...

Try one of the free newservers.....used to be a decent free one but cant
remember what it was :/

Aint tried it tbh....only ever searched on google groups through IE (my isp
newserver is pretty good anyways).
