I´ve been reading lots of HS reviews in order to find a good one for my athlon, I found lot of information but some questions still unanswered.
Were I live (Argentina) a good HS is really expensive so I´d like to hear some opinions before making such investment.
All the systems here come with cheap HS like power cooler or such..that keep the cpu between 50ºC(122ºF) and 65(149) full load. in summer when the ambient is at 40(104) the cpu can reach 70(158) full load.
I know this is a lot..buit is it imperative to change my heat sink? or can I use it like this and let it shutdown when it reaches 70?
(btw:when my mobo 8k7a+ reaches shutdown temp, it shutdown blowing my PSU, please read my post about it here , if you have some time)
wich temperature do u have with good cooling systems? cos all the ppl I know here have readings from 45 to 65 (or higher in summer)even with copper based HS.
also is it true that an athlon can run at 32ºC(89.6ºF) full load with a swiftech MCX462 as i read here and in other reviews?,besides none of the comparisons go over 40º, do you have those temps? and wich whould be the reading if the ambient temp is 40 instead of 22 ?
I´d really apreciate any opinions, advices and comments.
thanks a lot
