HSF for i7-860

Hi,

Just recently built an i7-860 system and don't like the temperatures using Intel's stock HSF. During Win 7 system rating it went well above 60 degrees C.

Which aftermarket HSF would you recommend to about 50$? I've been looking at CM Hyper 212+ and Scythe Mugen-2 Rev.B... heard that the CM tends to get noisy?

The answer to your question is it depends on the width of your pc case and the motherboard layout.

You can use the Google embedded search feature at the web site to find more information about heatsinks for specific cpu sockets.

I saw that link on many of your identical posts and have done my research during which I narrowed it down to the two mentioned HSF's that are available in my country as well fitting the case and motherboard.

I was hoping that someone had first hand experience with any of these coolers or could recommend something different...

P.S.: I have ASUS P7P55D-E Pro and CM 690 case...
