thanks django. can you give some reasons for your suggestions. (ie i was under the impression that the os fits on the smaller SSD) what is the advantage of the larger one if i host the content on an external NAS? also, why split the ram ? seems this would make upgrades down the road more difficult. i am pretty noob on the building stuff so please dont take offense i ask 'silly' questions. thanks again for your comments. cheers
