Question HTPC which specs are important for playback ?

Building new htpc, and wanted to try AMD this time.
Using htpc only for streaming Netflix and Amazon, but I can use that on TV app.
Also using for my media collection on HDD, moving to 4k contect next year.

Mobo specs are confusing, not sure which ones I need to play my collections in best quality they can play at.
