Hello, I have a acer aspire 9400 and what is happening is that if I plug in the laptop it disconnects the wi-fi. If I unplug the laptop and run off battery wi-fi is fine.
What do I look for

This is a weird one ! Do you think the mains adapter is blocking the wireless signal somehow ? Try relocating it away from the computer.

I think I would contact Acer or post on the Acer section on this forum.
