Hi
How do I configure WLAN on Huawei AP6010DN-AGN to provide internet through a proxy server? How do you configure it to 2.4 GHz instead of 5 GHz?
Thank you

But a proxy server may not be an option for an access point. That was your original question ...
If the proxy configuration isn't possible for AP ,Instruct me how to configure WLAN because it is little complicated and it is not like any simple routers
For proxy I'll add it to every device connected to wifi

The quick start manual is available on manualslib website. Page 9 says that you have to use the console port (serial port) to setup the AP. I don't know what the cable requirements for a DB9 to RJ connection for the serial port are.
I'm using web interface it's easier and only need network cable

What manual do you have that says the device can be configured via a web browser.

That is a extremely old device and it also is a enterprise class device. It was very common to configure equipment like this using a console cable. The manuals talk about using telnet. I am not sure windows has telnet enabled by default anymore so you would have to turn it on. You will have to do manual network configuration on your pc also.

Why do you even want to use this device. It is using extremely outdated wifi technology. I think it would be called wifi4 using the new names.

You can get a junk router for $25 that can be used as a AP that would have much more advanced wifi.

I already connected to it by web browser and network cable ,"i've got the instruction from internet searching.Regarding to telnet you can use PuTTY tool to connect by telnet.
I'll use it for house network and already have it ,if it is possible to use it I'll do if not I'll buy another one

If you have putty just follow the instruction for telnet in the manual. There is not much you can even setup on a AP. You can set the SSID and passwords for the 2.4 and 5g radios.

A AP is a really dumb device it pretty much just acts as a media converter that allows wifi device to talk to your router via ethernet.
