If 8GB of the RAM is soldered onto the mainboard, I wouldn't touch one. Price isn't bad considering the performance of those chips.

Agreed! The design of this laptop looks like a complete ripoff of the Apple MacBook Pro. They probably used the same parts! And the price is under $700? Are you kidding me? They're selling their products for cheap on purpose, undercutting their competitors and pricing them out of the market. Pathetic!

I believe all models have 16GB soldered onto the board. I still don't do too much that benefits from more than 16GB RAM, though that could change during the life of these laptops.

Not to mention, being funded and supplimented by the Chinese govt (like most other Chinese companies), so they can undercut all other international companies.

That's my issue, I don't want a board that is effectively stuck at that capacity unless you want to chop memory bandwidth in half. I do wish AMD's memory controllers were as flexible as Intel's in this regard.

Any news about availability in Europe? The Ryzen 3000 Matebook D15/D14 is the BEST price/performance/build quality laptop in its price point but i'm reaally interested in the Ryzen 4000 edition.
