HUGE bootup delay-LAN drivers (A7N8X-E)?

Ever since I installed the Yukon Gigabit LAN drivers for my new A7N8X-E (rev
1.1), my system takes several minutes to show the desktop. I've noticed that
during this black screen wait, the Ethernet light on my DSL modem is dark,
and once it lights, then all proceeds as it should. Any idea what this is
about?

Problem stemmed from my existing install for previous mobo. New drivers
solved it.
