Huge difference between wifi adapter prices?

I'm building a PC and I need a wifi adapter since I do not have an ethernet cable. I have linked two USB adapters below. Both claim to be able to reach speeds of 1200mbps, but one seems overpriced while the other is quite wallet friendly. Is there a difference between the two that justifies the price difference? Which should I get?

If it's a desktop you can buy pcie wifi cards. Any type of card will work but depending on what type of your you have b/g,n,or ac standard just buy whatever will work. I would suggest buying something like the ones you linked that have external antennas if walls are an issue. TP Link makes alot of well priced network stuff

Then, would you suggest getting something else? A lower mbps adapter?

This is for desktop. It will be roughly 25-30 feet away from the router which is downstairs from me. 25-30 feet is very very rough estimate, and there are also many walls in the way.
