Huge fps difference between tower and laptop can't figure out why laptop is beating my tower.

Okay so I just trade in my laptop for a desktop and the fps difference is bothering me I was playing fortnite and on my laptop I get 120+ fps constant but on my desktop only 80 to 70. I cannot figure out why. Both in epic settings.

I7 6700hq
Gtx1070
16ddr4
1tb had

Benchmark is 13449

Tower
I7 4970
As rock z97
Gtx 1070 ftw Vega
16gb ddr3
256 ssd
Benchmark is 14205

What benchmark results are those? Does fortnite have a built-in benchmarking tool?

The benchmarks are from 3dm firestrike and yes same res, I don't think fortnite has a benchmarking tool
