I upgraded from a R9 390 to an AMD 5700 XT yesterday and i'm having this incredibly frustrating issue. Every game does this btw. Im having what seems to be completely random fps drops/freezes after a short while. Sometimes it can trigger early if theres alot going on but as i said, it seems to be random.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: AMD 5700 XT
Mobo: Aorus B450 Elite
Ive updated drivers, rolled back drivers, used DDU in safe mode to completely remove drivers then reinstall. Ran some ram tests as I have ram issues in the past, came up clean. Game mode off, DVR off, compatibility mode options, fullscreen optimization options even reinstalled windows. Still have the issue. So i've decided to record some gameplay and add a ridiculous amount of overlay stats to figure out the cause but nothing sticks out to me. i'm out of options. Any one else have any ideas?
