It's kind of hard to explain but I'll have a go.
Within the past week I've been having serious issues when playing games. Mainly CSGO and Arma3. When I boot up CSGO, all is well, when I start a game my fan speeds increase massively (R9 290) and my ping shoots up to the 600-800ms range. Obviously rendering it unplayable.
The same thing happens with Arma. Although the fan speeds have always kicked in a little more with Arma due to its higher demand for vram, the ping is unplayable and will nearly always result with me being kicked from the game.
Now I've spoken to my broadband supplier and all is well. My connection is fine so is my ping and packet loss.
When I run speed/ping tests on my end, all seems to be well too. Until I launch a game.
I've already tried CCleaner, Advance SystemCare 9, Full virus/malware scans too.
Can anyone shine some light on this for me? Is it possible the two things are somehow linked?
Thanks in advance guys and girls! I do appreciate it!
