[SOLVED] HWinfo CPU temp vs Ryzen Master CPU temp ?

So I have a ryzen threadripper 2950x (not overclocked) and on HWinfo it says under the motherboard that the CPU temp is spiking up to 80 degrees and then my case fan kicks on super hard, but my core temps stay in the 30's or 40's. Ryzen Master and afterburner show the cpu temperature to be in the 30's and 40's as well. I am wondering what this motherboard reading is on the hwinfo program and why the spike in that temp causes the case fan to spin up ? Here is a screenshot of what I mean:

Solution
HWINFO
the cpu temp in the motherboard sensor area is a sensor placed near the package or outside of CPU, its the external temp of CPU
the ones showing under the CPU nodes are the ones internal to CPU - Ryzen cores have up to 500 temp sensors so its always moving

I generally see about a 10c difference between core and package temps but I only have a 3600

The bottom temp is an outlier in that rest of PC isn't so warm so you clearly don't have a problem getting rid of the heat
