Hello everyone,

In HWiNFO it is showing an exclamation point next to current pending sector count. I have ran western digital disk utility (extended test) everything came back passed. I also ran a command line chkdsk and the drive was clean. Why does this show up? I attached a link to a screen shot.

I would keep an eye on the SMART attributes. If the raw values (Data) start to increase on a regular basis, then I would consider taking the drive out of service.

Pending sectors are those that have been identified as unreadable or difficult to read. The drive will retest them and replace them with spares when the opportunity arises.

So are you referring to the "Raw read error rate" Currently its at 314? Is that the number I am looking at to see if that one goes up?
