[SOLVED] hwmonitor issues with 3900x

This could just be that hwmonitor hasn't been updated to support the 3 gen ryzen but I thought I would see if anyone else is having this issue.

There is no temperature monitoring for my 3900x. Ryzen master can read it and my motherboard shows the cpu temp in bios but if I use asus utilities it say not available.

I figure it just because it launched yesterday but was curious if anyone is having the same issue or my chip is just weird.

You are right, when you check the asus site for the cpu support list, the 3rd gen cpu are not in the list yet.

If the PC runs fine, don't worry about it. And wait for them to update. You may update the AMD chipset driver, if you don't do it yet.
