So I'm overlooking my Ryzen 1300x and am using HWMONITOR to watch the temps. I went on to msi command center to tweak something, and the temps are showing around 15 degrees Celsius higher on there.

I imagine Hwmonitor would be the more accurate of the two, but let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance!

i prefer using HWinfo tho over anything AND i can customize it to show on my desktop with Rainmeter.
iv never used MSI and 15C difference is too much tho. you may want to report that to MSI support forums.
Asus utlities report the same thing with HW monitor temps but at a slower refresh interval.

is there a native AMD monitoring utility?

When i compared HWMonitor to Intel's XTU temps, on two different computers, they were spot on, reporting what intel's utility reported, but when i compared RealTemp's temps to XTUs, on one computer they were close, while on the other computer they were 10-12 degrees cooler.

If AMD has a monitoring utility, you might compare to what it reports - i operate on the assumption the processor's mfgr's utility would most accurately report what it's sensors are sampling
