Hey, I'm getting the 980it and was wondering if the hx 620 corsair is enough. I have the 7950 amd that lasted 3 years, but last week I've been having grey screens and flickers.
every time it managed to recover saying " amd drivers have recovered successfully" but now the screen is black when booting. Sometimes the screen turns on but it flickers( all the way to welcome) and then goes black. I think the gpu is dying....
I was wondering if my psu had something to do with it. It's 5 years old, still running normally, no sounds etc... The only thing I get sometimes is when connecting the cable to psu it makes the tack sound.

Solution
I have an i5 4690K OC'ed to 4.4GHz and was benchmarking and stress testing an MSI 980Ti. I have a Corsair HX750, and one of those monitors that you plug into the wall and then plug your computer into it. During a 30 minute session of MSI Kombustor and through several sessions of 3D Mark Firestrike and Valley Benchmark, the most the monitor read was 450 Watts.
