Question Hybrid 2080 started overheating on idle and thermal throttles games

It just started to overheat for no apparent reason, the pump sounds like it on and running and i cant imagine that the water in it somehow disappeared. any idea how i can trouble shoot the issue, I have already ordered the nzxt g12 and kraken x53 to see if it might be the pump, but id like any other ideas before it shows up.
Also could it be drivers that caused it I updated them a few days ago but I don't know if that could cause overheating.

Not many ways to troubleshoot AIOs. They either work, or don't. Best to have a Plan B before inevitable failure occurs.
Sound isn't enough to go on.
-listen for any odd sounds, or if it doesn't sound like it did before.
-look at operating thermals. If you remember what it used to run at, you can compare.
-feel the hardware for drastic changes in temperature while under a load. Normal operation, the tubes should feel pretty similar.

Driver: Should be easy enough to run DDU, reinstall the last driver you had installed(if you remember) and then check.
