Hi,
I have an A6-5400k paired with a hd6570 ddr3 1gb (@ 1333mhz) and I also have 8gb ddr3 1600mhz cl8 of ram.
I've read somewhere that when you hybrid crossfire an apu with a compatible discrete graphics card not only does it share the gpus, but the memory as well, so it will basically use both video and system memory. am I correct?
now, should I replace my ram with faster ram, let's say running @ 2400mhz, will this increase performance, or because the speeds are different will it be asymmetric and thus decrease performance?

Memory is duplicated, both gpus need their own files and vram never combines. Cf different gpus, especially low end gpus, are going to be prone to stuttering. Faster ram will improve the igpu but you'd be better off just spending money on a new gpu. Btw the 6570 ddr3 stock ram speed is 900 (1800mhz).
