Yeah, speculative dram caching with these hybrid gain cells could act as a middle cache between the sram and dram, but the speculation engine wouldn’t be accurate some of the time, so data purging might slow it down when it misses.

If it’s so slow to lose a charge wouldn’t that make it harder to clear?
Also isn’t it asking for trouble if you have something on die that keeps its charge and might leak slowly.

To me this looks like something you would want between your dram and storage if at all
