Hybrid or open-air cooler gpu

Hello guys i cant decide atm so i need your help please and thank you. So i bought this evga gtx 1080 fe but i wasnt happy with the temp so i decided to buy a hybrid cooler from amazon and i was so happy with the temp results. However, is it worth to switch from this hybrid 1080 to asus strix open air cooler style? Btw , a friend of mine is willing to buy my gpu but not full price, only if , i will buy the asus strix one.

Since you've already bought the Hybrid kit and are happy with the temps I would just keep it. The aftermarket coolers work great however the AIO coolers do keep temps down quite well. Plus there's no reason to sell it and lose money unless your worried about it leaking which I haven't seen any recent issues.

thank you for the quick reply, actually i bought the fe from a friend and only cost me $550 usd
+ 150 for the cooler = 700 total and right now another friend of mine is willing to buy it for 680 , so basically im losing $20 which is not bad. Is it still a good idea to switch for asus strix air cooler? what if you were in my situation sir, what would you do

Personally, I'd keep the Hybrid cooler as it will run cooler then a aftermarket air cooler and IMO the AIO coolers/GPU casing are aesthetically pleasing.
