Currently I am looking for a hyper 212 evo alternative. I have a Corsair spec 01 case and a 212 evo is a really tight fit. I have an i5 7600k and I will be overclocking.
Something that is +/- £10 of the price of the evo and something shorter(less than 158mm height) and similar or better performance.

Solution
I would look at Noctuas lower profile coolers.

Check socket compatibility.
They are not going to cool as much as a D14 or D15 would.

Depending on how much you want to OC, might be better option to get an AIO with 240mm radiator. As long as your case can take a 240mm rad, clearance on CPU is no issue. The CPU waterblock is really small.

Someone more knowledgeable about Intel side of CPUs could clarify this but with air I think you will reach top speed of 4.3-4.4 Ghz...

I'm in the UK and the prices of the h7 reach £50 , the cheapest is like £40(over my budget a little bit) but I might just spend that extra money unless there are better options.
