Hyper 212 Plus PLEASE HELP!

I'm trying to put together my PC, but my Hyper 212 Plus is not fitting correctly.. The right back plate is on, the screws are in the correct position, etc. When I screw down one corner of the retaining metal thing while it is attached to the heat sink, the opposite side rises up in the air too far to screw it in. It's almost like a see-saw. Both opposite ends will not go down far enough to be screwed in at the same time. I have an AMD FX 6300 and an Asus M5 A97

PLEASE HELP!

At 3:55 when he screws in the first one just to get it to hold, the one in the back left for me rises up into the air higher and I'm not comfortable with the amount of force needed to get it close enough to the hole to screw it in
