Question hyper 212 rgb black,controller setup

So basically to enable RGB on the fan of the cooler, I connect upper "male molex" to female molex connector on PSU,right?
What are 2 buttons for?
Didn't find in manual.

it is the RGB controller, you can use the buttons to control the light.

I have the manual with the cpu cooler and it's not listed where to connect controller if no ARGB header on MB is present.Probably PSU molex right?But why the hell would they include 2 molex connectors?

Yes, one end is to PSU, other end is to the fan.

From what I read the CM RGB fan controller (three buttons) is the regular RGB type ( +12/G/R/B). And the 4 buttons one hass aRGB ( +5V/D/G).

And if you still had that MB, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, which had a RGB header for your RGB fan, check the manual page 1-46.

To help you. The male (with 4 pins) Molex connector plugs into a female output from the PSU, thus "consuming" it. So the cable supplied gives you a female Molex to "replace" the one from the PSU and you still can plug in more stuff.

thanks guys.I'm on rampage v extreme which has no RGB header sadly.
I'll hoook it up to PSU then,I was just wondering why they supplied 2 molex with controller.
