Upgrading from an intel stock cooler. I am able to get both coolers at the same price. It's for a CPU overclocked to 3.6x Ghz from 2.93Ghz

Hyper 212X contact pipes are clubbed together and the copper pipes basically are the base.
Hyper 212 LED has gaps in the copper pipes and the aluminium block also comes into contact with the CPU as well.

Which one should I go for? Using Arctic Silver 5 as the thermal paste. The case already have 2x120mm front fans (intake), 2x120mm side fans (right side - intake), 1x120mm side fan (exhaust) and 1 120mm (back - exhaust). All fans except the back exhaust are Bitfenix Spectre 1000 RPM and hence are very quiet.

Cheers,
Chris

Thanks guys, I went for the Hyper 212X because of the copper tubes being together and not separated as they are in the 212 Turbo version. Price for the both coolers was the same.

Hyper 212X has been amazing in terms of cooling. With a 12 hours AIDA 64 Stress Test and multiple 10 minute Prime 95 Stress Tests the temps at full load never went over 60C. Temps at idle have been around 25C to 30C

Single fan version, but it comes with a second fan adapter so you can put a second fan if you like.

I am moving to AMD Ryzen and Hyper212X is not compatible by default. You can however get the free bracket but the shipping from EU to India is the same as the cost of a new one. Hyper 212 Led Turbo (2 fan version) is compatible with AM4 and is a good choice currently.
