I have an old 2nd Generation Motherboard ECS h61h2 m12 v.1 and a 2nd generation i3 processor I have the 2016 Hyper X ram 8gb model will it work?

It should work, according to http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_SPEC.aspx?DetailID=1289&CategoryID=1&DetailName=Feature&MenuID=24&LanID=0 it supports DDR3 up to 1600MHz.
