Hyperterminal windows 7 and another program is using selected telephone device

Hello,

I have used HyperTerminal 6.3 on several XP laptops. I have a new desktop with Windows 7, installed HyperTerminal to monitor a USB bridge application (COM3), but get "another program is using selected telephone device" when USB is connected. SO, I can't communicate with it.

You could try www.hyperserialport.com. It is a serial terminal application written for Windows 7.
