Hyperx Alpha's picking up desktop sound

So whenever I test out my microphone at https://online-voice-recorder.com/ with the mic switch set to mute, my headset still picks up the sound playing through youtube, theres also this hiss sound and theres never any complete silence since it also picks up my fans moving aswell. When I play games the same thing happens, my friend can hear the audio that's playing and its not being picked up by the mic. I've already replaced them so I am currently using the second pair. My Razer krakens have no issues except that the cable is kind of broken and it unplugs itself which is why I am trying to upgrade to the alpha's. I'd like some help through this issue or should I just replace it again? I don't want to have to buy razer krakens again but I've already had more issues with the hyper x alphas than the krakens.

ive answered questions about hyperx hardware before and have found out that they have excellent afterservice care. in some cases problems were solved by them shipping free headphones. try them first.
