HyperX Cloud 1 or 2?

Hello,

I am looking to get either a Cloud 1 or a Cloud 2 to go with my SB ZX,

I am leaning toward d the 1 because of the mic mute feature being available.

I am relatively new to gaming. I would rather have the Cloud 2 but if I went that way I would not have the mute.

How important is it in multiplayer games to have a mute feature?

You will have the mic mute feature but that will require the USB inline sound card to produce the virtual 7.1 surround sound that in essence renders your sound card useless as all sound processing will be done over the USB sound card.

I'd vote for the Cloud(I).

There can be times in life/or your gaming sessions when you can't have everyone hearing everything over the mic 😉

I personally like the IIs better, the surround sounds better to me, but thats really the only difference between them.
Either would be a great choice, very comfortable headset.
